Attempted and Rejected: High Five

Audrey Young attempts to receive a high five from her distracted mother, Yurika Young, outside of their parked car in front of her grandmother’s home in Anaheim, CA.

As Audrey Young waited to pick up her grandmother for dinner on a warm, Tuesday evening in Anaheim, California she decided to waste some time running around outside of the car. In doing so she attempted to find things to occupy her distracted mind by starting a conversation with her mother and suggesting a high five in the midst of it. Unfortunately for Audrey, her mother, Yurika, was focused on contacting her own mother for their evening plans and unknowingly ignored her daughter’s request resulting in a feeling of utter defeat for the 18 year old.
